You can even just watch your horse cruise the paddock- it's very relaxing. The replays of each round include 4 different camera types to choose from and switch between, and are really amazing to watch. The horse care is simple and doesn't become tiresome-I think a few more barn chores/grooming tasks would make the game even better. This is BY FAR the best equestrian pc game available. I only hope they come out with a sequel. The controls are easy to learn and use, so the challenge is in getting the best out of your horses and riding the courses flawlessly. The graphics are fantastic-not cartoonish at all. The customization possiblities of the horses are endless, you really can create the horse (or horses-up to six per player)of your dreams.
I think my favorite part is how I can make the horses exactly how I've always dreamed them. The courses are fun and challenging. :-) Playing this equestrian game is a Great way to spend a rainy day. This game is a lot of fun, and as realisitic as a game can be. You really have to work at it, and improve your skills training the horse.

You can compete up to four star levels. You can brush your horse pet it feed and water it and wash and fly spray, but you have to unlock some of them.

I bought it b/c I really like the game "Ride" from Bigfish.com and thought this was similar from the reviews I read. the graphics are good, doesn't really take much skill to play, very easy (little too easy), but not bad. My only problem is I wish it gave me the choices to change the controls, I like the arrows but it uses "a" for left turns, "d" for right, "w" to speed up and "s" to slow down; takes some getting use to.
